1. Review �鶹��ƵAPK’s transfer policies in . Contact transferarticulation@hamline.edu with any questions.
2. Work with your advisor to confirm what is needed to stay on track for degree completion. If nearing the end of your time at �鶹��ƵAPK, contact the Registrar's office at registrar@hamline.edu to confirm the coursework fits within your Program Completion plan.
3. Confirm with transferarticulation@hamline.edu that the courses you plan on taking are transferable. Include the following information in your email:
   --Term you are planning to enroll in transfer courses
   --Name of school(s) in which you are considering enrolling
   --Course code(s) and title(s), e.g. ENG 101 Intro to Literature.
   --Specific �鶹��ƵAPK Plan letters or course equivalents you are hoping to fulfill, if any.
   --Any additional questions you may have.
4. Follow the other institution's registration requirements and processes to enroll. You may also need to coordinate with Financial Aid (finaid@hamline.edu) at �鶹��ƵAPK and the campus offering the course(s).
5. When the course is complete and grades are posted, you will need to request an official transcript be sent directly to �鶹��ƵAPK (see below).

1. Official transcripts must be sent directly by a college or university. Unofficial transcripts cannot be used to transfer credit.
2. High school transcripts cannot be used to transfer college credit. It must come from the college or university awarding the college credit.
3. Many institutions outline their transcript request process on their website. Try searching their website for “official transcript” or “transcript request.” This process is typically managed by the Registrar/records office; if you are not able to locate their process, contact their Registrar.
4. Most schools use third party services for transcript requests (Parchment or Clearinghouse are widely used transcript services). When filling out the request, be sure to indicate �鶹��ƵAPK as the recipient; our mailing address will populate automatically when you enter the name. If opting to send electronically, current students can send to transferarticulation@hamline.edu. Carefully review the recipient information before placing the order to ensure it is correct.
5. You should receive a confirmation email once your transcript order has been placed. We will review and add eligible credits within 1 - 2 weeks of receiving the transcript and will notify you once your record is updated.

Transfer courses are automatically reviewed for �鶹��ƵAPK Plan letters. However, if the fulfillment of a letter isn't clear from the course description alone, we're happy to review additional materials. Here's how to request further review:

1. First, read the in the Bulletin to confirm the course met each of the outcomes described.
2. Obtain a syllabus (or relevant course materials such as lab lists or calendars) from the term you were enrolled in the course, and send it to transferarticulation@hamline.edu. If you no longer have a copy, contact the institution or instructor directly.
3. In your email, specify which �鶹��ƵAPK Plan letter(s) you're requesting review for. It helps to point out where in the course materials the Learning Outcomes were addressed.

Please note: HP W, Q, P, and at least one O must be completed at �鶹��ƵAPK; they cannot be transferred into �鶹��ƵAPK. Course equivalency and �鶹��ƵAPK Plan letters are evaluated separately. A course may be considered equivalent in subject matter without satisfying the specific learning outcomes required for a �鶹��ƵAPK Plan letter.
