Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students Hanan Abdi '26, and Sophia Schlink '25 recently joined Professor Betsy Martinez-Vaz at the Annual Conference of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), where they presented their biochemistry research and co-led a national workshop on using virtual reality for 3D molecular visualization in biochemistry courses. Their workshop highlighted Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s innovative use of VR in STEM education, supported by a Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Technology Grant. Hanan and Sophia were also inducted into the ASBMB Honor Society in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, and scientific achievements.
