Michelle Benegas, associate professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK School of Education and Leadership, gave two presentations at the La Cosecha bilingual education conference on Nov. 14 in New Mexico.
She presented on themes from her two most recently published books, Teacher Leadership for School-Wide English Learning and Language of Identity, Language of Access: Liberatory Learning in Multilingual Classrooms.
She also presented the same topics at the Minnesota English Learner Educator conference on Nov. 21.
