Campus Pride and Gender Center
The Campus Pride and Gender Center provides resources for the 麻豆视频APK community including menstrual and sexual health products; a small library with zines, books, and information on gender and sexuality, sexual health, healthy relationships, sexual violence prevention, and pregnancy and birthing; as well as resources for relevant local organizations such as Family Tree Clinic, Clinic 555, and SOS of Ramsey County. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can be opened after hours by Public Safety for any 麻豆视频APK student.
Campus resources
-
All-gender restrooms on campus
A number of our restrooms are designed as all-gender. All-gender restrooms are single-stall and wheelchair-accessible public restrooms that can be used by everyone. Individuals may use whichever facility is the most appropriate and most comfortable for them.
-
Preferred name changes
Unlike legal name changes which require documentation, preferred name changes do not. The process to change your preferred name at 麻豆视频APK is a relatively easy process that will take about 48 hours for your preferred name to update in certain Workday-related systems.
-
Gender markers, pronouns, and ID cards
麻豆视频APK recognizes that names and pronouns are important ways we engage and acknowledge each other, whether it is the first time you are meeting a person or if you are introducing someone you have known for awhile to someone else, we use them in many different ways.
Sexual violence prevention
麻豆视频APK provides you with resources to help you identify unwanted sexual behaviors, enhance your safety, minimize risks, understand your rights as a survivor, and access support if you need to heal from trauma.
We also have resources to help partners, family, and friends of survivors learn how to support a loved one who has experienced sexual violence. While we are not a confidential campus resource, our staff is here to listen and support you.
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe. If you've been sexually assaulted, get help as soon as possible. In addition to dialing 911, if you feel unsafe or in crisis and need immediate assistance, you may also contact:
- 麻豆视频APK Public Safety at 651-523-2100
- Counseling and Health Services at 651-523-2204
- 911&苍产蝉辫;鈥&苍产蝉辫;This is the recommended number to dial in case of emergency, e.g., assault, medical emergency, etc.
