Welcome, transfer students! We get it—you already know the ropes and understand what it’s like to be a college student. Still, every campus is different, and we want to ensure you receive any support you may need during your transition to Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK.
Our staff is here to help you navigate a new campus with new policies, procedures, and culture. We can answer questions about your transfer credits, financial aid, and academic advising and help you jump into life at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK.

Important dates for transfer students starting in fall 2024

| May to July | Once you have submitted your deposit, you canÌýreview the registration informationÌýand schedule an appointment withÌýCASAÌýto register |
| July 1 | Deadline to create your roommate group.If you don’t create a roommate group, you’ll be matched with a roommate based on your profile preferences |
| August (Date TBA) | Move-in day for those living on campus |
| August 22 | Fall orientation day |
| August 26 | Fall classes begin |
Transfer student orientation
There is a mandatory one-day orientation session for transfer students that occurs before fall term for those starting in the fall and another in January for those starting in the spring. At orientation, your New Student Mentors will welcome you to campus and give you the rundown on Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK 101.
During the program, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Learn about campus and student support services
- Meet with faculty and staff
- Connect with other new Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students
- Receive your student ID, textbooks, and other materials
- Learn about academic expectations and advising
- Discover campus life outside the classroom
Fall 2024 orientation
Fall orientation will take place on Thursday, August 22, for transfer students starting classes in fall 2024. Further information will be sent to your Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK email address as the date approaches.
