The Class of 2026 came together to mark 100 days until Commencement, celebrating the final stretch of their time at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK by sharing stories, laughs, and memories.

The annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative event, held by the Hedgeman Center and led by Kareem Watts, honored Dr. King’s legacy through performances, readings, and a keynote address, encouraging reflection on justice, equality, and the role of community in creating positive change.

Dustin Johnson joins as AVP for Facilities Services, overseeing campus operations, maintenance, safety, and capital planning projects.

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s forensic science program offers hands-on crime scene training, interdisciplinary study, internships, and strong career preparation in a growing field with diverse professional opportunities.

More than 250 students presented 129 projects at the 2025 Winter Showcase, spanning sciences, arts and humanities, developed with professors and shared in poster sessions.

Professor David Schultz prepared an affidavit arguing that the jury pool – from which jury panels are selected – is not representative of the community.

In her inaugural address, President Mayme K. Hostetter encouraged the university community to build on its past and present milestones as it envisions its role preparing students for the future.

President Hostetter made her debut at CHS Field — home of Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Baseball — for Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Night at the St. Paul Saints vs. Worcester Red Sox on July 24, 2025. After throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, she stopped in the broadcast booth to share her thoughts about what makes Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK special and how the opportunity to lead us brought her home to Minnesota.
