Several Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK professors shared their expertise at the 27th International Leadership Association (ILA) Global Conference held Oct.15-18 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students in all fields – humanities and natural sciences, fine arts and social sciences, education and business – are invited to present their class-based research or creative project at the Winter Showcase of Student Research and Creative Inquiry for the Classroom. The submission deadline is November 16. The showcase is December 9.

Are you working on a collaborative research or a creative project you’d love to share? The internal abstract submission window is now open for all undergraduates who have done substantive collaborative research or creative inquiry projects who are interested in presenting at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) taking place on April 13-15, 2026 in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Elijah Anderson, Sterling Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at Yale University will be at Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Klas Center, Kay Fredericks Room, for a public lecture, The Art and Science of Urban Ethnography.

John Shepard and Kris Bennett, part of Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK’s Center for Global Environmental Education (CGEE), are featured in a special edition of Current: The Journal of Marine Education focused on the Southern Association of Marine Educators. Shepard, an associate professor and assistant director of CGEE, and Bennett, the K-12 resources director, were part of the CGEE team that produced Waters to the Seaâ„¢ Gulf Coast Adventure.
